An Inside Look: Larchmont Spanish Style Tudor - PILLOWPIA

An Inside Look: Larchmont Spanish Style Tudor

For this month's Inside Look, we took a road trip up to the beautiful Larchmont, NY to visit our friend Michele. Now a city expat, Michele recently moved her beautiful family of five to what we are calling the Larchmont Spanish Style Tudor. A yoga instructor, dancer, former makeup artist and mom of three, Michele is also a life long friend of our founder, Pia. They shared design talk (and some childhood stories) over tea in Michele's clean and casual breakfast nook followed by a home tour that is giving us serious decor envy.

There is detail in literally every corner of this home, from the intricate wooden shutters to its curved ceilings. The unique architectural touches are mirrored in the furniture with every piece being a work of art that complements the other.

In the kid's playroom, this wall-to-wall former ice box was a gift from the home's previous owners. It makes the perfect toy storage system so there are less toys on the floor and more room for pillows!

We immediately fell in love with the study. A small room off the hallway on the first floor, it's the perfect quiet space to escape to. The gallery walls are filled with artwork that gives the space an eclectic feel.

Upstairs, in the master bedroom, the focus is on these beautiful wooden shutters. A boho cane bed partners perfectly with soft tonal pillows to keep the vibe sleepy and serene.

The bottom line is, there are thoughtful textural details throughout this home that give us major feels.
